Images And Words Week 228 - The Kitchen - What Is It For You?

Welcome and greetings from Sweden!

The kitchen has thru the decades been the centre of the house where families gather for meals and a good times. From breakfasts to dinners or light snacks - this, one of the most important rooms in a house, is where you go after woken up and where you might also end up for a late night sandwich and milk. The theme for this week is - The Kitchen - What Is it For You? Hope you will enjoy it and find creative and wonderful ways to portray it. Looking forward to your entries. best Anders.

This plate was a wedding gift to my maternal grandparents (born 1886 and 1887 resp.) at their wedding in 1912. It has hung in every home they have ever lived in and is now, through heritage, hanging on the wall of our kitchen. The words mean "The one who do not come in time (for dinner) - doesnt get any food."

The New Rules:

Each week we will post an original photo creatively edited or not.
All photos or collages must contain words somewhere on the image or placed in an area on the image most suitable to be seen clearly by all.
The idea behind this group is to expand our minds through our photography in a creative manner.
Photos must be your own, but the words can be someone else's as long as credit is given to the original author, unless unknown, whereby a simple "author unknown" will suffice.
Your post can either be serious, or if you'd like, comical, but never obscene .
Posts can either contain one word, sayings, statements, quotes, or full poems ... As long as the words fit the theme, it is Your choice.
All posts are to be done on your own site in a blog form
with a link back to it being left here or on Muze.
New topics will be posted on Sundays.
Posts can be made through to the following Saturday.
One post per person only please..
