Images And Words 178 ~ At The Gates

Welcome to this week's Images And Words from our new home on Blogger.
Week 178 of our posts on the net and we are about to turn the page on a new chapter of Images And Words.
I thought it would be a good idea to close the old gate on our past in Multiply and open the new gate to our future here in Blogger. On behalf of Anders, Sue and Myself Milli, it gives us great pleasure to invite all of You our special group members to submit your Images And Words for this week...from where ever you are calling your
New Site Home.

Cheers From Milli

At The Gate.

Sharing a quote here submitted by Marianne because it seems most appropriate.

"No one can persuade another to change. Each of us guards a gate of change that can only be opened from the inside. We cannot open the gate of another, either by argument or emotional appeal".

    1. Thanks Linda. The photo was taken today and the historic old barn has deteriorated so much over these past years.
The theme seemed to really fit.
Gosh there seems to be gates opening and closing every where lately.

    2. Hi Lynda..I feel for you sweetheart. I was on Yahoo when they closed the doors and I hung on in there until the end. Multiply was different for me to learn and then after time it was even better that Yahoo. I think you will settle in well given time. Please feel free to post though where you feel most comfortable.

  14. hmm the links don't seem to work well the way we are used to post them. maybe we need the same widget as in picture perfect? http://thatswhenwesnapped.blogspot.no/2012/09/leaving-link-made-easy.html

    1. Just to let you know Amalie if you are using Google Chrome just highlight the link, right click and where it says
      Go to http://thatswhenwesnapped.blogspot.no/2012/09/leaving-link-made-easy.html
That will take you directly to the link. Mine opens in another browser which is perfect for me as I can remain on the same page for other comments I need to address. The links just look a bit big and clumsy. lol.

    2. Thank you for good advices, both of you! Yes, the link can be opened better in Crome, Millie. And yes Anders, the way you suggested, can be used.
But..isnt it better to use that widget that works well whatever reader is used, and without HTML codes?

      Scratching head here..

  17. Thank you Anders. This HTML code looks a bit odd to me. Are you sure it is correct? Anyhow, I would prefer the widget..

  21. PS. Is there some way we can be notified when a new theme is posted???

None of the groups seem to have that covered yet and I for one am missing so much. Yikes! That no good!
