My Theme is any picture taken by the Seashore ..If you don't live by the Sea then any body of water...will do..
Mine is Lazy Sea Lions basking in the sun. Taken in California.

DeleteI tried to use flikr to give you a smaller version of the photo - but the code couldnt be put in here
Deletecomments. Ive sent it to Milli - she will be able to edit your blog and add the smaller copy. take care
Hi Sue,
DeleteWhat a beautiful photo and I made it a little smaller but loved the detail so kept it big anyway.
When I uploaded the smaller image it was the same size as what was here set at xlarge but I decided that original was fine.
I love your chosen theme and the quote. Let me see what I can come up with soon xo
:) - indeed, Sue, you have chosen well - it is a terrific theme and image.
DeleteHi Sue! Amazing how relaxed they look! Good one :-) When it comes to flickr: after having uploaded your image there, you just click on it, and then a share option will appear. That's the clue.
DeleteI forgot to tell you all check out the slideshow in the guestbook..
ReplyDeleteIt is great.. Good idea Milli it looks FANTASTIC...
By the Seashore will be rather hard for me since I haven't seen the sea or the ocean in a very long time --- over 40 years! I do have some lake photos, will have to see if I can come up with some words for one --- that is the hard part for me. Or maybe something completely out of the box, got to get the brain in gear first.
ReplyDeleteSue your photo is great. I have never seen those critters in the wild.
How do we use the Links to this post and
ReplyDeleteCreate a Link

Deleteweenie, your site is open now, but i think it can be smart to check your settings one more time. First, because we have to prove that we are not robots (typing a number and a nonsense word) and secondly the comments need your approval to be visible. Maybe you want it to be this way, but it's truly inconvenient, and rarely used
DeleteThanks Amalie,No, I didn't want it that way.
DeleteIt was, like... Something about "Moderation", But, I fixed it.
I think Everything is OK Now, I hope so. Gosh, The Settings do
make a difference, Just one little click can throw everything off.
Thanks Again Amalie.
Great choice of theme, sue. The seals have some relaxing me-time. :). Wonderful quote.
ReplyDeleteMy entry
Thanks Anders and thank you for helping people with links.
DeleteThere must be a better way to do it then putting < > in everytime. See
I forgot already.
Can't we just right click and open in a new window?
You're welcome, Sue. Yes, you can do it that way too - hightlight and rightclick - indeed that would be easier.
Deletehere is my choice for this week. - Fortunately I live on the ocean so hav plenty of shoreline to show you. Thanks Sue for the theme - am looking forward to looking through the hotos and words from everyone - but I will have to do so in th morning.

DeleteI am about to set up my page http://mrsrh.blogspot.com/ to readers only. There is no way on Blog Spot to do each entry different so I made another page just for Images and Words; one for Picture Perfect; and one for my Little Joe stories which is for readers only. That was the only way I could figure out a way to control part of the privacy here on Blog Spot and still have this group and Picture Perfect open so anyone could visit and comment. Most of my Newsmuze size is for friends only: http://muzenews.ning.com/profile/LyndaHarris Same with my Xanga site: http://mrsrh.xanga.com/ I also have other sites that I am testing. Just have not made my final decision.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the copy and paste links. Blog Spot is too much trouble when it comes to links.
Love those seals, they really know how to relax. Here is mine We Swiss don't have sea shores, or oceans, just lakes and rivers
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say for those that can still not know how to post links in Blogspot you don't have to bother. Just msrk the link as it appears on the site and don't play with it. All you have to do if you want to follow it is to go over it with the mouse and mark it. Then right mouseclick and you will be asked do you want to go there. You can just click on it and it takes you there automatically. To be quite honest, I don't see the problem.
ReplyDeleteThe problem is, that the way you are speaking of, doesn't work in Internet Explorer.
DeletePat you are saying copy link with your mouse then right click on it and then open in a new window..right I
Deletedid that and it worked perfectly.
I will try it with Internet Explorer too I have Firefox.
Fantastic photo and theme Sue. I will try to go for a drive tomorrow and take some pix. It is only Monday afternoon here.
DeleteAnd here is mine from last summer: By the Seashore

ReplyDeleteHaving a hard time keeping up so I'll place my marker here like I did with Multiply.
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful, Sue. The size is just fine on my laptop, but I have a widescreen. I love your quote. It makes me think of our vacations to the beach when we were children and collecting sea shells. They were indeed our treasures.
