Images & Words #143 - Candid/Street Life

Hi Friends, 

Mia here, having the honor of hosting this fine weekend!
For a theme this time we are going to post a Candid/Street-Life.

Sing to us softly, hum evening's song. Point the way to better days we can share with you.


 Each week we will post an original photo with words on it. The idea behind this group is to expand our minds through our photography.Photos must be your own, but the words can be someone else's as long as credit is given after the words. Your post can either be serious, or if you'd like comical, but never obscene .Posts can either have one word on them,quotes, or full poems ... Your choice.All posts are to be done on your own site in a blog form with a link back to it being left here. See the example below in the blog titled Test Run.New topics will be posted on Sundays.Posts can be made through Saturday.One post per person only please.

    Interesting theme. Will be back later. Like the photo, really shows a lot going on. Most of my photos are candid shots, my favorite type to do.

    Thanks LInda, it was taken at our nearest village when we had a kebab for lunch.
    The guy with the mic is actually a doll! lol

    Wonderful capture, Mia! The couple in the foreground look so chiseled, almost as statuesque as the Blues Brother! This will be a fun theme. I'm going out to China town in a few minutes to photograph the New Year parade. I'll be back soon with something suitable, I hope.

    I Love that movie and that is my favourite part of it. The guy that was after the Blues Brothers is Charles Napier,. He was My 8th grade History teacher. He just recently passed away at the age of 75.
    I have watched the movie a thousand times.

    Cool picture. I can honestly say though, that this is THE HARDEST topic I've seen yet! haha I really didn't have anything to choose from. I don't take pictures of people that I don't know since I wouldn't want anyone I didn't know to take a picture of me. Finally found one though!

    Seeing is not enough. You have to go down the street, wait five minutes or walk hundred feet, and you will find a composition or an expression that the street offers us :)
