Images And Words Week 207 ~ Light ~

Hi Everyone this week your challenge is "Light".
On my way home from work this evening as the sun dropped down in the west the east delighted me with a truly wonderful sight of the bottom part of a beautiful big rainbow. I watched it for a good fifteen minutes before deciding to stop and try to capture this rainbow full of spectacular colours descending from the heavy rain clouds above and dropping down into the distant hills below. Although an optical illusion this light created an awesome effect for those lucky enough to have viewed it.

      Thank You so much Marianne. It was twilight at the time I took the photo and the light at the time gives that impression. Also we are in Autumn here and I think that is showing as well.

    Gorgeous colors, reminiscent of a Van Gogh.

    Lovely theme, Milli. I can't wait to get out and see what I can capture today. It's a bright sunshiny day, although rather cool.
