Images & Words # Week 50 ~ Heavenly

Good Day Good People it is Milli here today as your hostess.

Tonight whilst travelling home from work I witnessed such glorious natural beauty that I just wanted to share the magic with everyone.

So the theme this week is -Heavenly

Interpret this theme as you wish. I just found a slice of heaven in the sunset here tonight but you might have a different idea on the theme.

I am looking forward to viewing your Heavenly experience this week.

Peace and Love

Milli.

Each week we will post an original photo with words on it. The idea behind this group is to expand our minds through our photography.

Photos must be your own, but the words can be someone else's as long as credit is given after the words.

Your post can either be serious, or if you'd like comical, but never obscene .

Posts can either have one word on them, quotes, or full poems ... Your choice.

All posts are to be done on your own site in a blog form with a link back to it being left here ( To shorten your link, click share at the bottom of your post which will open your post onto the share page. Then click the link code in the box, copy and carry the link to wherever you wish to paste it in comments.)

New topics will be posted on Sundays.

Posts can be made through Saturday.

One post per person only please.

  7. Heavenly photo indeed! I love that little piece of verga that's catching the sunlight. I'll be back later with mine, I think I know what I want to do? But sometimes things get changed in the process and that's part of the fun of this group!

  16. I had problems uploading my photo to my Multiply album and then moving it to my post using the method of dragging it from another window. Did you, or anyone else, having problems like that this morning?

    ReplyDelete
  17. YES! It let me drag it, but not the original size of the image, which is 670x520.

  19. That's what happened to me, so I pulled the sides of the window that the album was in to make it the correct size, for me it was 600x480px, but when I dragged the photo it looked soft--and I like my photos to look sharp!

  20. I use Flickr to upload my photos, plus I use shrinkpic beforehand to compress the photo so it doesn't take so much time to upload. I'm on satellite so sometimes it can be very iffy and slow.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I don't think so? It appeared to reach 600 pixels wide and then not get any bigger as I pulled the window wider. But I suppose it's possible cuz I didn't measure it.

  26. I think reaching out to others is key in life. Key.

    ReplyDelete
  27. But did the photo look sharp? I was able to accomplish the drag and drop but my complaint is that the photo looked soft--and I like my photos to look sharp!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I have caught up I think and what a Heavenly collection of Images & Words posts I have viewed this morning. I know we have more posts to come and I can't wait to see these too.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Point of clarification: The photo that you see in my post is sharp because I ended up using Flickr. I originally tried using the Multiply drag and drop but no matter what I did it looked soft. So, I deleted that photo and used Flickr instead.

  30. Ah got you Amy. As I rarely use Multiply these days I was unaware until this discussion that there was a problem here these days with photos and especially the drag and drop process that I have used in the past. Good to see that you have it all sorted beautifully now.
