Images and Words Week 90 ~ Our Flower Show

Good Day to All the creative members of Images and Words.

This week I thought we might brighten up the world with a colourful and beautiful flower show.

Even if you don't have too much on offer around you at the moment you must have some beautiful flower photos and accompanying flowery words to offer up in a quote. Either your words or those of another.

What I am wanting here is a colourful surprise on each and every post

Truly Beautiful

Flower Show.

So let's get to work and allow the powers of beautiful flowers, to transform our world.

Looking forward to visiting everyone who posts this week and hoping a few of those who have been quiet of late will join us all again soon.

Cheers From Milli.

The Rules:

Each week we will post an original photo with words on it.
The idea behind this group is to expand our minds through our photography.
Photos must be your own, but the words can be someone else's as long as credit is given after the words. Your post can either be serious, or if you'd like comical, but never obscene.
Posts can either have one word on them, quotes, or full poems ... Your choice.
All posts are to be done on your own site in a blog form with a link back to it being left here.
New topics will be posted on Sundays.
Posts can be made through Saturday.
One post per person only please.

  3. Such a delightful theme. Perhaps, I should have posted one of my hibiscus pictures. Instead, I opted to post this one. It was taken from a moving car, so it is not as clear as it might have been. Still, I love it.

  7. God Morning Dana,
I know that many of you are in the depths of cold and bleak there and this is a gesture to bring colour back into you lives again. As Lynne said where she is buds are forming and spring will arrive soon.
Archives are fine and I encourage you all to go back into your archives if nothing is apparent there for you to capture at the moment.
Now the flowers above are Wild and relatively rare orchids. They can be found, but you need to go looking for them in their terrestrial surroundings.
I was very fortunate to have found a few still blooming.
    Their botanical name is..
Dipodium punctatum which originates from Australia

    Local name is...Hyacinth Orchid

  23. Oh what a glorious orchid and what a truly wonderful theme! I don't know when or if I'll be able to participate because my 'puter is having problems, including not wanting to open files of photos! I've done everything I can think of, but while trouble shooting I discovered another problem and that is my puter won't install any windows updates. I fear that I'll have to take it in for repair. My image for my next hosting date is half finished, and I think I'll be able to finish it and load it up to Multiply before I take the puter in for repair...if that's what I'll have to do.

I love it. You are so creative.
I started making this flower for a friend. It was
one of her favorites, but I was too late to give it to her. So know I will post it here in her memory.
Taken in my basement. It's cold down there. Ohhhhhh!!!!
