Images and Words Week 100

Milli here and I am privileged to have week 100 as my turn to be the hostess.
Before I start I wish to thank the other Admins of this fabulous Group, which started nearly two years ago and has become such a favourite each week for so many of us keen I&W members.
Joel, Mia, Amy and our talented guest hosts and hostesses your efforts and magnificent weekly themes have been of so much inspiration to us all.
The group has seen some exceptional posts this past 100 weeks with accompanying quotes fitting like the proverbial glove.
I would like to also acknowledge the new banner for April courtesy of our Host with, 'The Most Amazing Eye for a Perfect Capture'..Joel.
I love the new banner it makes me want to do some serious sea gazing from a unique vantage place, like the old chair, as soon as I can.
Something Special for Week One Hundred
Bring out one of the Best of Your Photos, place a fantastic quote on it and Brighten Up Our lives here on Images & Words..
"Ignite the light and let it shine" and show us what you can do for this Very Special
One Hundredth Week of Images & Words

The Rules:

Each week we will post an original photo with words on it. The idea behind this group is to expand our minds through our photography.

Photos must be your own, but the words can be someone else's as long as credit is given after the words. Your post can either be serious, or if you'd like comical, but never obscene . Posts can either have one word on them, quotes, or full poems ... Your choice.

All posts are to be done on your own site in a blog form with a link back to it being left here. New topics will be posted on Sundays. Posts can be made through Saturday.

One post per person only please

  20. Never really thought about my best photo. Have some favorites. The number 100 and recent photos came to mind. Over 100 years ago Mrs. Charles Goodnight rescued some baby buffalo calves (around 1878). Descendants of these calves now live on the Caprock Canyons State Park (Texas). Although this photo is not one of those buffalo, it was taken near where we live. My entry for this week:
