Images & Words #129: BLUE

Hello everyone, this is MITCH, hosting Images & Words for the very first time!! Thanks to Milli for inviting me. I hope you enjoy my theme.

It's more than just a colour....it's also a mood, an emotion....with the addition of the letter 's', it's also a whole genre of music. Yes, it's BLUE. Tell us what BLUE is to you.

Bosherston Blue I

The Rules:

Each week we will post an original photo with words on it. The idea behind this group is to expand our minds through our photography.

Photos must be your own, but the words can be someone else's as long as credit is given after the words.

Your post can either be serious, or if you'd like comical, but never obscene .

Posts can either have one word on them, quotes, or full poems ... Your choice.

All posts are to be done on your own site in a blog form with a link back to it being left here.

New topics will be posted on Sundays.

Posts can be made through Saturday.

One post per person only please.

  22. Sorry but can more participants Please follow this rule:

All posts are to be done on your own site in a blog form with a link back to ... here.

It would make it So much easier for us to catch eveyone's work.

  23. Looks like everyone is leaving links.

    ReplyDelete
  24. to their own entry.
With that method, some entries get missed altogether.
Not to talk about how it leaves the impression...
"Yours is okay but look at mine"
as if you've not given the entry your full attention.
I always come back here to catch each entry. I never follow trails of crumbs
Besides - it is in the rules!

  25. I come back here, too. It's easier for me to keep up with, since not everyone posts a link in individual comment boxes.

  26. "All posts are to be done on your own site in a blog form with a link back to it being left here. "

I might be missing the point here but the rules state the above.

We want all participants to leave their link to their personal posts back here in the comment section so as to be able to visit your entry when it is posted.
As the posts come at different times it is usual for any new comment to show up in the alerts section in I&W in your Inbox.

The option of leaving your shared link with a comment is a personal one indeed. I usually refer back here, however if my good friends on I&W wish to leave me a link with their comment, I am more than grateful because I will usually go to all the links left in my comments first before coming back here to see what new posts have been added.
I find that for me to do this is more of a courtesy gesture to those who have visited me.

What is left in a comment however is a personal gesture on behalf of the writer and for me personally the fact that they came for a visit and left a comment is indeed a positive gesture on their behalf..and always very much appreciated by me.

A Good point to be clarified and thanks for bringing your point up here Lynne.

  29. Excise me buttin' into your conversation.
    But "blue photos"?
Down here, they'd be taken in the "blue-light district" if you know what I mean.
But - that's not what you meant, is it.

    Is it?

    LOL

  31. That is what I do, never use the links left on my site. Guess it's just a habit to leave link when I visit someone's entry.
