Welcome back to another week of Images & Words. I am going to be out all day and wanted to get this posted early before I left for the day. Going to watch the sunrise in the cemetery from Night Of The Living Dead ...Long story and adventure ahead. This weeks topic is The Past....can't wait to see everyone photos. Again my apologies if I don't look at any photos today...
The Rules:
Each week we will post an original photo with words on it. The idea behind this group is to expand our minds through our photography.
Photos must be your own, but the words can be someone else's as long as credit is given after the words.
Your post can either be serious, or if you'd like comical, but never obscene .
Posts can either have one word on them, quotes, or full poems ... Your choice.
All posts are to be done on your own site in a blog form with a link back to it being left here.
New topics will be posted on Sundays.
Posts can be made through Saturday.
One post per person only please.

Good Morning Joel....now thats a blast from a past gone by.
ReplyDeleteLove those big old steam engines and all the nostaligia that accompany them for me.
Great steam engine photo Joel. Hope you held your breath when that smoke came out lol!
ReplyDeleteNow as soon as you take a photo it's in the past - right? he he he ...
Lol isn't that the truth Mia..Never thought about it that way.
ReplyDeleteThanks Milli this one is from 1811 or 1814 somewhere in that time frame. We went for a train ride in the mountains on it. It was a pretty cool trip ..Little shorter then I would have liked though.
ReplyDeleteHow cool is that Joel...I would love to take a good trip on one myself. I remember them regularly visiting our local railway station..smoking, noisy, steaming and amazing.
ReplyDeleteI have one up now.

I'm always haunted by the past when I go to Richmond Town. It's a reaturation of an old Dutch settlement here on Staten Island. This picture was taken in the general store.
