Images And Words Week 188 - Toys And Games

Good morning from Sweden.

Ever since the very first children looked out of the cave entrance and wondered what to do that day I suppose that their parents - in one way or another - tried to create some kind of toys or make up games to keep the little ones busy while the grownups dealt with the every day run of things in the life of the group. As time passed the toys got all the more advanced and well made, but the games usually, pretty much stayed the same. The simplest is, of course, any activity which involves throwing or kicking something. But as we all know children's entertainments have grown ever more advanced from the 70s and onwards with the advent of the game console, the computor and the cellphone.

The Rules:

Each week we will post an original photo with words on it. The idea behind this group is to expand our minds through our photography.

Photos must be your own, but the words can be someone else's as long as credit is given after the words.

Your post can either be serious, or if you'd like comical, but never obscene .

Posts can either have one word on them, quotes, or full poems ... Your choice.

All posts are to be done on your own site in a blog form with a link back to it being left here.

New topics will be posted on Sundays.

Posts can be made through Saturday.

One post per person only please

  2. When I think of games, I think of family fun and good times so that is what I did for this theme. My photo is from a family Christmas past.

Usually, when I'm 4 days later than the first ones I don't post anymore...everybody is already busy with something else...
( I have a lot of Images and Words that will be a draft forever...)
This time I discovered the new subject this afternoon... but too late... I didn't take any pictures yesterday!
