This is Sue hosting this week and I hope you will join me. I chose the theme "Photo's from your travels" I know everyone loves to travel and has some beautiful shots of the many places they have been.
I would love to see them. Be sure to post your link here to what ever site you have settled into. I don't want to miss your great entries.
My shot is of the Mission Santa Barbara in California -USA It was founded by Spanish Franciscans in 1789. It has the most beautiful gardens and grounds. The interior is beautiful also.
These missions are all up and down the coast of California I have visited all of them.
The most famous is San Juan Capistrano. Where the swallows return each year.
The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a
page.
St. Augustine~

Striking, gorgeous photo, Sue! Love the perspective that speaks of the desert. The missions are such amazing places. I've been to several, but not all! My first was San Juan Capistrano, when I was 16 and just graduated high school. It touched me deeply. I think I have to play this time around...
