Re Calendar Album

Thanks for so many wonderful posts for the Calendar Album.
Later this week I will ask those of you who wish to post your Calendar entries into a group album to either allow me to bring your image into the album which I will create for the group here, or to drop the image and words from your site into the album comments section or give me your link to the post and I will attempt to post it for you into the album.
If you do not wish for your I&W to be placed into the group album please inform me here or with a personal message to me. I am sure there are more Calendar posts still coming through and that is fine, keep them coming and remember this will be a first for our group here.
Thank You All.

  10. If you wish to use my entry, Milli, you certainly may. It's not a typical scene for January.....most people are programmed to see winterscapes....not the case in Florida.

I'm not quite sure what it is that you are needing here so I simply dropped the link to the I&W post.

  11. I would love to have my entry included, but I don't want to post it to Multiply for an extended period of time. So, I'm sorry, but I'll have to bow out.

  14. You are welcome to add mine. I will upload it for you if you set the album so that members can upload. Otherwise, you can find the full-sized version here: http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk26/ksampson629/Blog%20illos/Beforethegreenisgone.png

  15. I'm not aware of a setting that enables different members to upload to one album. If there is, I'd love to know how?

  16. I would love to know how too Mia. At this stage I am saving and uploading to a draft album here.

  17. Go to GROUP SETTINGS (right rail) > GROUP CONTENT > PHOTOS > and choose ALL MEMBERS CAN POST.

P.S. I know this feature allowed group members to post to one album in the past (a couple of years ago). I don't know if it has changed - I have not tested it since then.

  18. That just means that all members can post albums, not that they can all post to one album. I know that was discussed quite a while back with Multiply, but it doesn't seem that that issue has been solved yet.
Would be great if it could, but I guess there are more things to consider. Like stopping the ability to delete other people's photos etc.. Also it would have to be especially "designated" albums, because if you post an album you wouldn't want others to be able to post to it as well......

  19. The Images and Words already submitted for the calender are fitting nicely into the album however I am short a few months, so if you have not left your link here and you wish to be in the group album please leave your link in the comments section here soon.

  25. I belonged to a photography group when I first started on Multiply a couple of years ago and I thought members were able to upload photographs (they did a new album each week) but I could be wrong - it could have been the group admin who uploaded them. That was a long time ago and I barely remember what happened yesterday. LOL

I agree, there would have to be safeguards to keep people from deleting others' photos. Multiply has worked to hard to "improve" things for individual blogs but IMO they have let the group blogs fall by the wayside. In my writer's group I offer tagged content boxes for members if they prefer to post their entries on the group blog. You would not believe the hassles I go through just trying to position the tagged content box!!! All I want to do is put them in alphabetical order by Multiply ID so that no one individual is favored over another. I will think I have everything in place but then I leave and come back and it's all messed up again. Grrrr!!

Sorry...I know this doesn't relate directly to the calendar/photo album issue but I do think Multiply needs to turn its attention to upgrading group blogs - and soon!!!

  28. Folks there are still months missing for the Calendar. so please come and leave your links, we have nothing for December and June yet for instance...

    ReplyDelete
  29. Thanks Kira, yes could have been the admins uploading then. Yes, I do think Groups need an overhaul.
Maybe that's next on Multiply's agenda?......

    ReplyDelete
  30. I can touch up mine a little (a few of the leaves were turning but I can green them up) and it will serve for June if someone else doesn't have something more appropriate.

    Wedding photos, anyone?? ;)

    ReplyDelete
  31. Thanks Kira no need to change it yet..let's see what else comes along. Wedding photos?

  32. If you need me to, I can make mine Dec, since the pic was actually taken on Christmas Eve.

  37. I don't know how I missed this earlier in the week? You can use mine but if anyone wants to actually print it I'll have to post a larger file of the image.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Thanks Amy, I will place it for you with the groups effort.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I have made the settings for the groups work to no zoom or printing however I am happy to change this setting if those who have submitted their I&W would like me to open it up for saving, zooming and printing. the choice is yours, so please advise me here. I have no problem with this personally.
    Thanks Again from Milli.

  40. I'm happy to share mine for printing or whatever. Here is the reworked one Milli. Phew, I can't believe you did this with so many photos.... Well done!
