Images & Words - Mythological or Pot Luck # 60

Welcome back to another week of Images & Words. Our topic this week is Mythological which maybe a little tough so you can also do a Pot luck if you like. I took my shot this week on Friday while out looking for covered bridges. Just as I noticed the airplane flying over head the hawk noticed me. I titled this shot Icarus (Born On Wings Of Steel) after a song written by Kerry Livgren of the group Kansas.

The Rules:

Each week we will post an original photo with words on it. The idea behind this group is to expand our minds through our photography.

Photos must be your own, but the words can be someone else's as long as credit is given after the words.

Your post can either be serious, or if you'd like comical, but never obscene .

Posts can either have one word on them, quotes, or full poems ... Your choice.

All posts are to be done on your own site in a blog form with a link back to it being left here.

New topics will be posted on Sundays.

Posts can be made through Saturday.

One post per person only please.

  10. Very very cool! I'm not sure if the hawk is thinking, "Haha! I don't need an airplane!" or "I wish I could fly that high." I'm going to attempt to do something mythological, but thanks for the fall back pot luck if I can't come up with anything.
