Images & Words --- I Am Haunted By Waters (Week 92)

Welcome back to another week of  Images & Words. This week I chose as our topic I Am Haunted By Waters. Like Milli's banner above we all seem to be drawn to water be it an ocean...lake.. or stream side for me. The solace that it brings us can't be matched by anything else. The title of this weeks topic is from a quote by Norman Maclean's book A River Runs Through It. A favorite book, movie and quote of mine because it shows us how much more the waters that run through our lives mean when you look a little deeper. Enough rambling let the Magic of your waters grace us today.

The Rules:

Each week we will post an original photo with words on it. The idea behind this group is to expand our minds through our photography.

Photos must be your own, but the words can be someone else's as long as credit is given after the words.

Your post can either be serious, or if you'd like comical, but never obscene .

Posts can either have one word on them, quotes, or full poems ... Your choice.

All posts are to be done on your own site in a blog form with a link back to it being left here.

New topics will be posted on Sundays.

Posts can be made through Saturday.

One post per person only please.

  11. I love your choice of theme here Joel.
I think I have more photos of water than any other subject.
I also think you have made a fabulous capture for this theme and your quote is ideal.
I would have to agree with Mr Thoreau in total there.
    My contribution is here.

  17. Gorgeous photo! Black and white really brings out the layers of stream, and I love that the fisherman is completely silhouetted. I'm off to think about this about this theme, should I use a photo from back home in the SF Bay Area? Or here in Boise? hmmm.....
