Hi everyone this week being the beginning of December 2012
I thought that our theme would reflect anything found around our homes, gardens, districts or country which reflects how December looks to us personally right now.
I found a beautiful and exquisite purple flower growing in a pot outside and decided I would share this little taste of December from around my home. No snow here just sunshine and the occasional tropical storm but that's for another post.
You will all have so much to choose from I am sure. So use your creativity and see how clever you can be.
Presenting Our New Theme This Week From Milli.
Be back on this one. It's a bit dark out there to see what's happening. :)
ReplyDeleteNo problems take your time Nik.
Deleteoh how wonderful thanks milli
ReplyDeleteWelcome Heidi.
DeleteLove your flower (we have three hibiscus bushes in the garden, but will have to wait a few months now for a flower. This morning we had our first snow in the garden, so I ventured out with my camera. Have just had lunch, now off for a midday sleep (being a golden oldie) and will return when I have sorted my photos.
ReplyDeleteFantastic Pat. I look forward to seeing what you have for us.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot of a beautiful flower... purple hibiscus is not common here in Portugal... Love it!
ReplyDeleteI'll be back later with my link....
Thanks Belita..I look forward to visiting yours too!
DeleteBeautiful flower - your winter is just the kind I would appreciate a lot more than minus 10 and snow.

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how it got so late so soon but it sure did!
Nice flower photo milli and indeed, how did it get so late so soon???? MInd you I am always seeming to be chasing myself these days so maybe it cancels the spped of the year out! December - that leaves a huge field of choices ao am going to dwell on it a bit and post a little later. Also working on my Garden Gurus post - slow in coming but comig all the same!! Love the colour of this one Mili and the almost transparent petals - very delicate and love how the stamen(?) is peeking out behind th folds of the petals iin all it's voluptuous contrasts of yellows and golds!
