Images And Words Week 215 - Fifteen

Greetings from Sweden.
Fifteen can have all kinds of connotations. The most readily use of it is of course Andy Warhol's Fifteen Minutes of Fame. Jamie Oliver had a program in which he cooked a couple of dishes is the same amount of time. In Gaelic Football there are fifteen players in each team. In tennis fifteen is the first the point given in a game. The number of guns in a gun salute to Army, Marine Corps, and Air Force Lieutenant Generals, and Navy and Coast Guard Vice Admirals. The number of balls in an 8-ball in a variant of billiards. It's the atomic nr of Phosphorus. Hope these different uses for the nr will be of help when you make your entry. This week's theme is FIFTEEN. Im looking forward to your entries. Hope you'll enjoy this challenge. Best Anders.

The New Rules:

Each week we will post an original photo creatively edited or not.

All photos or collages must contain words somewhere on the image or placed in an area on the image most suitable to be seen clearly by all.

The idea behind this group is to expand our minds through
our photography in a creative manner.

Photos must be your own, but the words can be someone else's as long as credit is given to the original author, unless unknown, whereby a simple "author unknown" will suffice.

Your post can either be serious, or if you'd like, comical,
but never obscene .

Posts can either contain one word, sayings, statements, quotes, or full poems ... As long as the words fit the theme, it is Your choice.

All posts are to be done on your own site in a blog form
with a link back to it being left here or on Muze.

New topics will be posted on Sundays.

Posts can be made through to the following Saturday.

One post per person only please..

  3. Way too busy this summer to participate most weeks. I guess I've been breaking the rules as I didn't know the words had to be on the picture. Most of mine have been above or below the photo, will try to pay more attention to rules, when I have the time to enter.

    1. Dear Lynda. Dont worry - just as long as the words in the vicinity of the photo its quite allright. I've done in-frame quotes on numerous occasions. Within or in-frame - either will do. Hope to see you participate again soon. best from me and the other IAWers.
